What it is: a large stained glass triple moon phase Suncatcher/wall hanging/ornament/panel
Method of construction: copper foil (Tiffany), handmade
Glass description: beautifully textured artisan-made glass in a lovely rich shade of amber
Embellishments: These magical moons are suspended from an antiqued brass chain with a unique handmade hanging loop at the top. Decorative solder adorns the front of this piece.

Approximate dimensions: The suncatcher alone measures 9.25 x 3.5 inches. The entire piece, including chain and hanging loop is about 9 inches from top to bottom.

I often use artisan glass in my pieces. This means that surface irregularities, such as tiny air bubbles or slight indentations, may be present. These are not considered flaws, but rather add a unique charm to each piece that greatly outshines mass-produced materials. I personally love these little quirks and am delighted when I can use them in my art.
